I just started studying and this is great. I usually remember like 30 words a night. I recommend this product.
Provided peace of mind in days before taking test

Reviewer: Silent Panda,
The Kaplan 800 verbal book is far better than the math version of the same series and has some great tips on what to do if you don't know the vocabulary word given. They tell you how, for the antonym questions, to narrow down the answer choices so that you can possibly choose the correct answer without even reading the given vocabulary word. I don't know that I used any of the tips they gave but reading these and knowing that I could possibly answer questions even if I didn't know the vocabulary word did calm me down in the days before I took the test and I scored in the 95th percentile for verbal.

In general, I would recommend studying Barron's test prep material if you are starting well ahead of time (actually their essay writing advice is very useful even if you don't have much time), to study this book from Kaplan if you have just a few weeks or so, and to study Princeton Review if it's the week of.

The book was very helpful in spelling out strategies for the verbal GRE. The vocabulary lists in the back of the book were super as well. I wished there were more sample questions and problems though.
Still waiting for my product
